At first they were smitten with the false promises of union organizers who made promises that many employees thought would be the answer to their grievances as well as increased income and job security.
After you presented your program to my workers and gave my management the kind of coaching I was not able to provide, I was left with a work force that was excited and ready to work. Thank you. This is my last store. You have really helped our Company a great deal. I have never had any experience with a union and you have helped me and my Store Managers with many things that we can do to prevent the employees thinking that they need a union and close the in-store gap of disconnection between Management and the line workers. My Store Managers have become more approachable and encouraging of the Open Door Policy. Most of all the communication is must better.

The lack of communication is where the union gets an opening to infiltrate into a store. I think that communication is all it boils down to, Employees want to be heard, they want to understand what their job is and given a goal, they want to be treated equally and fairly, they want to be recognized for a job well done and they want some understanding when life happens.
